Short film of a durational performance lasting 93 minutes, comprising 300 hours of endurance training, the body as an organic sculpture, reclamation of language of titling, and 200 audience participants. 

Through telescoping in on the specific role naming plays in meaning making and the construction of commbodity, LIKETHEHIGHWAY examines how the meaning of their birth name هيلينا (pronounced Helena), which translates to light bringer, has constructed their sense of purpose. By embodying the light bringer in this endurance work, LIKETHEHIGHWAY has shifted the 

meaning of light bringer, from a self-sacrificial role of offering their own light to one reminding people to remember theirs. LIKETHEHIGHWAY believes we have all been taught to forget what we truly are: souls inhabiting flesh vessels. Now it is just a process of learning to remember.
