LIKETHEHIGHWAY is a creation counter-creating against creations of counter-creation,,,creation as both destruction and liberation,,,creation as existing in my entirety as much as I exist in every part that exists in me,,,don't you hear all of me? can you see just a part? do I exist because you see me? you exist to me,,,at least a part of you does,,,maybe that's what all of this is,,,seeing,,,maybe that's what all of this creating each other,,,counter-creating against each other to recreate each other to create ourselves,,,maybe our bodies are organic sculptures and our life is source material waiting to be turned into art,,,no actualized,,,no maybe,,,just examined,,,maybe that's what all of this is,,,analysis,,,maybe that's what all of this is,,,alchemy,,,

LIKETHEHIGHWAY is a conceptual art project by Lue Khoury. Lue Khoury is LIKETHEHIGHWAY but LIKETHEHIGHWAY is not Lue Khoury. LIKETHEHIGHWAY was born in 2019 but wasn't named until 2020. Lue Khoury began "living life as an experiment in art" in 2018 but didn't know it until 2022. LIKETHEHIGHWAY became conscious of this October 24th 2022. Through sculpture, painting and performance art LIKETHEHIGHWAY explores perceptions and creation of self and reality. Viewing the body as an organic sculpture and objects as active performers. Lue’s favorite color is red.
